Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza that was showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016 is now ready to be launched in the third week of March. The Vitara Brezza shares the same platform of the Swift, and it will be powered by a 1.3-litre DDiS 200 (which is a sourced Fiat MultiJet engine) mill that is capable to churn out 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque. The mill will be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission that drive the front wheels. The company is also working on a petrol variant which might enter the market later this year.
Followed by Maruti’s recent variant updates, it might get an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), EBD, dual airbags. The top ranking variant will be offered with projector headlamps with daytime running lights, fog lights, contrast roof finish, automatic climate control, touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, alloy wheels, and more.
The Vitara Brezza will play the most important role for the brand to achieve its 2020 goal of 2 million units per year and will be exported to markets in Asia, Africa and South America.
