Maruti Suzuki has launched the Vitara Brezza AMT at an introductory price of Rs. 8.54 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the country. The automatic gearbox would be available in three trims: VDi, ZDi and ZDi+. It would also come with subtle tweaks in exterior appearance and interior cabin while retaining the same 1.3L DDiS diesel engine. Maruti Vitara Brezza AMT would directly rival the Tata Nexon AMT, which was launched last week in the Indian market. Just so you know, the company has sold around 2.75 Lakh units of the SUV since its launch in the country.

AGS has been very well accepted by customers, and sales of AGS variants in the Maruti Suzuki portfolio have tripled in three years. By making this technology available on Vitara Brezza, together with a refreshed design, we expect India’s number one SUV to become even more attractive.” Maruti Vitara Brezza AMT flaunts front chrome grille and back door chrome garnish as standard, while riding on new glossy black-finished alloy wheels.
The cabin features an all-black color scheme with complementing accents. Suzuki Vitara Brezza SUV now complies with advanced safety regulations, including pedestrian safety, ahead of regulation timelines. The refreshed model comes loaded with new safety features comprising ISOFIX child restraint system, high speed warning alert, dual air bags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors and front seat belt pre-tensioners and force limiters. These features have now been made standard across all variants. The SUV is already certified for offset and side impact crash tests since its launch. Mechanically, it is powered by the same 1.3L diesel engine which develops maximum power of 89bhp at 4000rpm and maximum torque of 200Nm at 1750rpm. Below is the variant-wise Ex.
