The giant Indo-Japanese car manufacturers, Maruti Suzuki, launched the sub-compact SUV car, Maruti Vitara Brezza in India in 2016. Since then, its performance in the Indian market has been remarkably good. The recent reports suggest that this sub-compact SUV has crossed the sales mark of 1.5 lakh units. It has been one of the favourite cars among the people and holds the top spot in the contemporary sub-compact SUV cars in India.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is the straight choice and attracts people with its styling and reliability. The graph of the sales of the car has been resounding, thereby showing a growth over the months from January to June 2017 with average sales of 10,059 units every month. It holds a stylish appearance on the outside and looks butch and tall-ish.
It gets some cool features on the inside like keyless entry, push-start button and an integrated infotainment system with all the latest technology contained into it. On the mechanical front, the car is powered by a 1.3-litre diesel engine which produces a maximum power of 89 bhp and a peak torque of 200 Nm. The engine is mated to a conventional 5-speed manual gearbox for transmission. There is no petrol engine variant to the car yet.
Due to the newly implemented tax reforms in India (Goods and Service Tax), the July month saw a decline in the number of sales but now with all chaos for GST sorted and the upcoming festive season, the demand is estimated to get back on track soon.
The Maruti Vitara Brezza price India of Rs 7,23,962 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base variant. It extends up to Rs 9,91,068 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the highest-end variant..
