The Maruti Vitara Brezza Facelift is all ready for launch at the Auto Expo 2020. Maruti Suzuki, India’s biggest auto manufacturer is launching the much-awaited Brezza Facelift on 5th February 2020. As spotted earlier too, the new Vitara Brezza is coming in the petrol engine only and these new spy shots have revealed new details.
This pre-production Vitara Brezza is likely a VXi, mid-spec variant. The compact SUV will receive major exterior changes, including revamped bumpers which looks sportier and ice-cube LED DRLs. Launching at Auto Expo 2020, the 2020 Brezza Facelift top variant will get dual-tone five-spoke alloy wheels and a new headlamp cluster.
Speaking of the new Vitara Brezza interiors, the dashboard and steering wheel is the same; however, the top variant (ZXI+) is likely to have a new touchscreen infotainment system and other changes.
The 2020 Brezza tachometer reads higher now and this means that the BS6 Maruti Brezza is powered by a rev-happy petrol unit. This 1.5-litre SHVS petrol engine generates a peak power of 103 bhp and a max torque of 138 Nm as well as comes paired with a standard five-speed manual or four-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox.
According to the reports, the new Vitara Brezza petrol will be using the 48V SHVS mild-hybrid system instead of 12V. Fuel economy figures, specifications and other details will be confirmed soon.
Maruti Suzuki has not yet confirmed that the new Vitara Brezza will come with a 1.5-litre diesel unit or not. The diesel engine produces 89 bhp power and 200 Nm torque. It comes mated with a five-speed manual transmission or AMT unit.
