Announcing the increased production and availability of Vitara Brezza, Mr. R.S. Kalsi, Senior Executive Director (Marketing and Sales), Maruti Suzuki said, “The high demand for our popular models such as the Vitara Brezza is a testimony of our best in class technology, design and customer experience. With the Suzuki Motor Gujarat plant operational at its full capacity of 2.5 lakh units annually in Gujarat, we are able to increase the output. We are confident that with the reduced waiting period, we will be able to enhance the car buying and ownership experience of our customers.” Firstly introduced in March 2016, Maruti Vitara Brezza was the fastest to achieve the 3 lakh sales mark in the SUV segment in just 28 months.

Maruti Suzuki also launched a dual-tone colours variant of the SUV – a first in its segment. Since launch, the company has sold over 3.57 Lakh units of Vitara Brezza in the Indian market. A few months back in May 2018, the company introduced the AMT (as Maruti calls it Auto Gear Shift) variants of the SUV. It received overwhelming response from customers with its penetration as high as 49 percent in Mumbai and 39 percent in Delhi. Maruti Vitara Brezza is available in a total of 7 variants: LDI, VDI, VDI AMT, ZDI, ZDI AMT, ZDI+ and ZDI+ AMT while priced in a range of Rs 7.58-10.33 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi). It takes on the likes of Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon in the Indian market.
