Maruti Suzuki has announced that the NEXA premium retail network of dealerships has crossed a million unit sales milestone in the country. Being introduced by MSIL in 2015, it has taken merely four years for NEXA to achieve this milestone.
Currently, it has over 350 outlets in more than 200 cities in the country. NEXA has become the 3rd biggest brand in the Indian automotive industry.
Presently, Maruti Suzuki retails five products through the NEXA chain of premium outlets: S-Cross, Baleno, Ciaz, Ignis, and XL6. All these vehicles boast of the latest technologies like Suzuki Connect, Smart Hybrid, Smartplay Infotainment System, NEXA Safety Shield, and Automatic Transmission.
The NEXA outlets have been designed in a special monochromatic theme with a special focus on in-store lighting so that the entire spotlight is on the car. The showrooms have a dedicated delivery area with LEDs and music. In addition to this, NEXA has also entered the domains of Fashion, Music, and Journeys.
Being mentored by the maestro A.R. Rahman and headlined by four celebrated musicians, NEXA has introduced first of its kind NEXA Music initiative which is targeted towards the creation of Original English Music in India. It has also collaborated with iconic lifestyle properties like IIFA and Lakme Fashion Week.
During the announcement of a 1 million unit sales milestone, Maruti Suzuki also revealed that nearly half of NEXA customers are under 35 years of age. It can be said that NEXA has truly won and owned the hearts of young millennials across the nation with its innovative and contemporary approach and offerings.
