India's largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, has decided to arrange a service campaign to inspect a suspected fault in some 3796 Ciaz. The newly launched premium sedan is facing some issues with the clutch operation system and Maruti has decided to proactively check and replace any such malfunction in the car.
All the 3796 Ciaz comes with a manual transmission and belongs to the batch manufactured till 7th November 2014. Maruti is known for customer satisfaction and the current decision to undertake the service campaign, again comes in the interest of customers. Maruti Suzuki dealers had already started to communicate with the owners with suspected faulty cars.
The service is free of cost for the customers and can also be manually checked by the customer by going at the company's website www.marutisuzuki.com. Customers have to fill in the chassis number (MA3 followed by a 14 digit alpha-numeric number), to know if their car is eligible for the check-up. Alternatively, customers may also visit the nearest Maruti Suzuki dealer workshop to ascertain if their vehicle is among the above vehicles.
More and more manufacturers are engaging in the service campaign activities, to rectify faults that may lead to the inconvenience of customers. Maruti, being the pioneer of passenger cars in India and also the largest manufacturer, understands the nerves of the customers and how to keep them happy. It is a right step in the direction, before the car is recalled over a major issue.
