The 2017 edition of the Geneva Motor Show is less than a fortnight away and we can get a glimpse of what is in store for all the automobile enthusiasts out there. The anticipation level is brimming at its peak as we sneak peek into the wide range of cars that are being geared up for their mega debut.
That said, two of the most important products that are awaiting its debut are the Maserati GranTurismo and the sports edition of GranCabrio. 2016 has been a very successful year for Maserati as it has posted a record sales figures of 42,100 globally distributed cars.
The Special Edition of the cars to be unveiled are based on the GranTurismo and GranCabrio Sport version and only 400 such units will be produced during the entire lifetime. There are several exclusive features in these cars like the inclusion of New Rosso Italiano three layered paint job for the exterior. The 20-inch alloy wheels will come is a new glossy Black finish that will complement the logo wheel center cap.
The interior styling is heavily based on leather/Alcantara upholstery and new interior stitching, which would be available in four different combinations. Other features include carbon fibre door sills and a Special Edition logo on them. There is also a dedicated plate on the center tunnel which has a carbon fibre holder.
The Geneva Motor Show 2017 will also feature the Levante Show Car, which would be featuring the new conceptual 100 per cent silk fabric of Ermenegildo Zegna in the cockpit. There is a dedicated Zegna logo that proves premium class, which is teamed with premium black coloured leather coating on the upper part of the dashboard.
The beige colour silk fabric has been made by Ermenegildo Zegna atelier especially for Maserati.
