Maxxis India has tied up with Honda 2 Wheelers in a ‘unique retail partnership’ and as a result, Maxxis tyres will now be sold at Honda Motorcycle & Scooters India and Maxxis outlets. It is a strategic association with HMSI to boost its market entry and buyer outreach.
Maxxis India is a subsidiary of Maxxis Group which is one of the fastest growing tyre companies in the world.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Bing-Lin Wu, Marketing & Retail Sales Head of Maxxis India, said, “We are excited about this unique association with our long-standing partners Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India. This partnership demonstrates our strength and the ability to offer high-quality products for the country’s leading two-wheeler brand and will allow us to reach out to several customers through HMSI’s robust network across the country. Our aim is to create strong brand preference for Maxxis in India and showcase the range of innovative and technologically superior products to the customers.”
The initial phase of this partnership will see co-branded M6000 tyres (90/100-10) being sold at select Honda and Maxxis outlets all over India. And the subsequent phases will involve a further increase of this strategy. The M6000 tyre is an Original Equipment fit for the Honda Activa, which is designed to give additional strength and safety. Maxxis organised training activities in 20 cities all over the country, reaching 650 Honda sellers, to give them the information and knowledge related to the products and services.
Maxxis India is passionate about a robust buyer-first approach to offer the best quality tyres, which is a combination of high-grade raw material and cutting-edge technology. The company has proved its high-quality products and valuable consumer service at par with the international standard across the globe including India.
With the best quality products produced, Maxxis offers great schemes and transparent claim resolution processes, including the industry-best 5+1 unconditional warranty with Maxxis 2-wheeler tyres.
Maxxis India attained a record target of selling 1 million tyres to its OEM partners, recently. The company’s first batch of two-wheeler tyres shipment was from its Sanand plant to Honda 2 Wheelers in August 2018 and has been manufacturing tyres in full swing.
