McLaren has now said the company has chosen to enter into partnership with ‘Sime Darby Motors’ and its high performance cars will be available for sale in Malaysia under the brand name ‘Maclaren Kula Lumpur.
Maclaren Automative is fast becoming a global brand; within 2 years it has established forty one retails centers, seven of them are in this region. Maclaren Automative are celebrating fifty years of production and this drive to expand is a part of this celebration. The company has chosen ‘Sime Darby Motors’ as their partners in this venture. The sale gallery for McLaren’s models is near the important highways in a place called ‘Klang Valley’. A Service Centre will be attached to the sales centre. The service centre is placed in the ‘Temasya Industrial Park, at Glenmarie’. The service center is likely to have 4 bays and all the staff will be trained in England in McLaren factory. The sales center is likely to be opened in September this year.
The executive handling the marketing of the brand in Asia Pacific re-emphasized that McLaren’s are committed to providing both high performing services and sports cars to their customers all over the world. The new partnership with the ‘Sime Darby Motors’ would be help them in achieving their goal of providing best services to their customers. It is believed that the ‘Auto Britannia’ is going to initiate several events which would increase the interest of the prospective customers in this region.
