McLaren's Special Operations group, for the last few months is creating a lot of ripples in the automotive market. Every now and then a special and customized vehicle surfaces online and few of them we have covered. Today we are bringing another such example from the MSO division, which is gathering appreciation due to its classic yet catchy paint job. The special McLaren P1 is commissioned by Canadian Philanthropist in Gulf inspired paint.
This one-off P1 is made for Miles Nadal, a Canadian venture capitalist and philanthropist by McLaren Special Operations division. And it looks very lively with a Gulf inspired Blue-Orange color. On the exterior the car gets a traditional baby blue with orange accents, from the tapered orange stripe running over the top to the orange brake calipers. The theme is carried inside where McLaren's own signature orange accents are joined by more baby blue to complete the theme.
MSO doesn't work on the mechanicals of the car and refrain to the finishing work only. Hence the car will get the same 3.6 litre twin turbo V8 engine capable of producing 727 bhp of power and 719 Nm of torque. The car is a hybrid and hence gets two motors developing 176 bhp of power. The combined power reaches a whopping 903 bhp of power and 978 Nm of total torque.
In the past few months, images of a Satin Red P1 and a complete black P1 have surfaced online.
