The Milwaukee motorcycle maker, Harley-Davidson has recently updated its Bagger range for 2018. The Street Glide Special and Road Glide Special have been introduced in new colors. Apart from the usual paint scheme update, the bikes also get a new a bigger rear wheel. Unlike the previous models, the updated bikes come in a new dark paint scheme which earlier comprised more of a chrome theme.
“Our custom bagger owners love to roll up to their favorite hangouts and show off their bikes,” said Harley-Davidson manager of Product Portfolio, Paul James. “But we know it’s also important for them to be able to hit the open road in comfort and style. These new hot rod baggers are the epitome of capable touring bikes that look cool, and ride better than ever.”
The new 2018 Street Glide Special and Road Glide Special, get a fully blacked out engine, exhaust, frame, forks and alloy wheels. It comes in five new colors options including black, red, cream white, candy red and blue. While the 2018 Road Glide Special will be offered in new four paint schemes including candy red, black, cream white and basic red. Apart from the visual bits, the bikes also get a mechanical upgrade in form of a larger rear wheel. The earlier 16-inch wheel has been swapped with the new 18-inch rear wheel while the front remains the same at 19-inch. Talking about the engine, it runs on the Milwaukee-Eight 107 motor that delivers a blistering 150Nm of peak torque. The bikes are expected to make it to the Indian market in a next few months.
