The iconic Italian two-wheeler manufacturer, Aprilia has just unwrapped its SR 150 power scooter for the Indian two-wheeler market. We are highly delighted to announce that the company has made it official that it will be launched in the Indian market very soon. The SR 150 is unlike any of the scooters currently present in Indian market and technically it stands alone in its segment.

The only closes competitor is Vespa which is still far different when the whole package is compared. Internationally the SR series is available in variety of engine options ranging from 50cc to 300cc, but studding Indian market behaviour the company has decided to launch the 150cc model in our country. Aprilia states that the SR 150 will be a focus of riders looking for superbike-like sensation from a scooter.

It propels a 150cc single cylinder power mil which is mated to an automatic transmission system. It is equipped with the fully blacked out 14-inch alloy wheels which contributes to its aggressive looks. According to the reports, it will be available by August 2016 and manufacturing of the same will be carried at the company’s manufacturing facility in Maharashtra. We expect it to be priced somewhere in the range of INR 70-90,000. And hence it will be the cheapest available Aprilia in our country.
