The UK based electric motorcycle manufacturer ‘Saietta Motorcycles’ has just build their latest electric motorcycle. It is still in concept form and is likely to go into a production model within 12 months. It is christened ‘Saietta NGS electric superbike’ where NGS stands for Next Generation Saietta. The bike carries futuristic looks and a highly advanced electric-powering unit with a load-bearing carbon fibre battery compartment along with double-wishbone front suspension.

The company might not be a familiar face to all but it has been making electric motorcycles since 2008 and are leaders when it comes to electric technology used by many other manufacturer around the globe. The new NGS superbike has been developed by the technical steps evolved over the years from the earlier models. Co-founder and CEO Laurence Marazzi, Saietta, said “We know range anxiety was the biggest lesson for us from Saietta R, so our plan from the start with NGS was to aim for double what that bike could do with a full charge. We want to change people’s view of this bike as a possible commuter to that of a sportsbike rival.”

The new NGS is not at all going to be a cheap motorcycle, it will be among one of the most advanced electric motorcycles in the world and is expected to retail at around £58,000 (equivalent to INR 57.76 Lakh).
