Mercedes-AMG has revealed the new C 43 4MATIC Coupe ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show  and has added this sporty model to Mercedes C-Class family. For the highly dynamic driving experience that is the hallmark of the brand the Affalterbach-based development teams have put together a scintillating engineering package and a sporty appearance.

Commenting on this, Mr Tobias Moers, Mercedes-AMG GmbH chairman said, "The extension of the C-Class family to include the new C 43 4MATIC Coupé is another component in our growth strategy. It not only enriches the wide line-up of the C-Class family, but also starts the introduction of a whole series of new ‘43’ models this year. The ‘43’ models boast the characteristic AMG genes, which are also included in our GT and ‘63’ vehicles, and thus consistently interpret our brand essence of 'Driving Performance' in their segment."

Speaking of the exterior, the C 43 Coupe gives a sporty appearance, making it instantly recognisable as a member of the AMG family. With distinctive AMG styling, the front fascia gets sporty distinctive air intakes with diamond mesh grille features chrome-plated pins, silver chrome trim, as well as the rear apron with matt iridium silver diffuser insert, and light wheel alloy.

Inside, the C 43 Coupe gets DINAMICA microfibre upholstery with a red contrasting stitching. On a closer look, you can see a designo red safety belts and black floor mats with red edging add attractive highlights. The aluminium trim pieces with light-tone longitudinal grain embedded in the instrument panel and the doors provide effective contrasts.

The new C 43 4MATIC Coupe draws its power from a 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo engine that includes a modified boost pressure allowed the AMG engineers to increase the engine's power output and torque as well as its dynamism and flexibility to typical AMG levels. The motor is connected to a 9-speed automatic transmission, which is a rear wheel biased all wheel drive system that produces 367 HP and 520 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 – 100 kmph in 4.7 seconds before hitting an electronically limited speed of 250 kmph.

When we talk about performance, not to forget it’s an AMP develop machine, equipped with an AMG Ride Control sport suspension and five AMG DYNAMIC SELECT transmission modes "Eco", "Comfort", "Sport", "Sport Plus" and "Individual". The driver can tailor the characteristics of the C 43 4MATIC Coupé to individual preferences at the tap of a finger. The available range extends from efficient and comfortable to very sporty. This modifies key parameters, such as the response of the engine, transmission, suspension set-up and steering.
