Mercedes-Benz India has launched the C63 S AMG at a sticker price of Rs. 1.30 crore (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) in the country. Being the company's 10th AMG model in the country, it is the high-performance derivative of the C-Class sedan. Till date, over 40,000 units of the Mercedes-AMG C63 S have been sold worldwide and it is the best-selling company model. Just so you know, the C63 AMG S - based on the 'World Car of the Year C-Class sedan - is the company's 11th model launch in India in 2015.
Talking about the exterior styling, the C63 AMG S has an aluminum bonnet with the "twin blade" radiator grille and 19-inch AMG cross spoke titanium grey alloy wheels. Under the hood, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG S has a 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine which develops a maximum power of 503bhp at 5500-6250rpm and peak torque of 700Nm at 1750-4500 rpm. The engine is coupled with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission, which has a wide variety of transmission modes: Comfort, Sport, Sport +, Individual, and Race. Just so you know, the C 63 S Saloon is also the most economical eight-cylinder car in the high-performance segment. Mercedes-Benz C 63 S is available in four exterior shades: Obsidian Black, Iridium silver, Brilliant Blue, and Polar White. As for safety, there are Adaptive brake lights, PRE-SAFE System, 7 airbags, Attention Assist, Isofix child seat attachment system and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
