One such car is the Mercedes-AMG S63 by Brabus that was unveiled at the 24 hours Le Mans.
Speaking of the exterior, you will find extensive use of carbon-fibre components that includes tailor-made carbon surrounds for the large side air intakes in the front bumper, naked carbon covers for the exterior mirrors. In terms of the tuning of the car, Brabus has increased the displacement from 5,461 cc to 5,912 cc by installing a forged Brabus special crankshaft with longer stroke, increasing the cylinder bore and fitting the matching forged pistons and high-performance connecting rods. The engine dishes out 838bhp at a low 5,400rpm and a peak torque of 1,450Nm, which is on tap between 2,500 and 4,500rpm, but it has been limited in the car to 1,150Nm. The power is transmitted to the wheels by the 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system via seven-speed automatic transmission. It can make 0 – 100kmpl run in just 3.5 seconds before hitting a electronically- limited top speed of 350kmph.
