Mercedes Benz C Class 250 d Launched at Rs. 44.36 Lakhs

Mercedes-Benz India has silently launched the all-new C Class 250 d at a sticker price of Rs. 44.36 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Pune) in the country. The C 250 d was awarded as the ‘World Car of the Year’ and it the fastest and most powerful sedan in its segment. Till now, the C Class was offered in two variants: C 200 and C 220 d. The C 250 d was launched by Mr. Roland Folger, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes Benz India.

Apart from featuring the 9G-TRONIC transmission for the first time in the C-Class, the C 250 d also features the Garmin® MAP PILOT, ambient lighting, all LED Intelligent Light System and PARKTRONIC amongst other advancements; making the C 250 d a luxury sedan with a unique blend of power, style, comfort and safety.”

Undoubtedly, the sedan carries some of the most exquisite features such as LED Intelligent Light System, panoramic sliding sunroof, Reversing camera with 180° view, Attention Assist, Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC, Garmin MAP PILOT etc. to name a few.

Mercedes Benz C 250 d rides on the stylish 43.2 cm (R17) 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels painted in Vanadium Silver finish. Inside the cabin, it features ambient lighting as a standard feature with three different colours and five dimming levels. The three colours are Solar (amber), Polar (ice blue), and Neutral (white). As for safety features, it gets ABS, BAS, ESP, ASR, Hill Start Assist, ATTENTION ASSIST, and PRE-SAFE system as standard. Under the hood, the sedan has a 2.2L 4-cylinder diesel engine with ECO start/stop function, which belts out 204bhp at 3800rpm and 500Nm between 1600rpm and 1800rpm. It is linked to the new 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission, which propels it to touch the 100kmph mark from standstill in just 6.6 seconds before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 247kmph.
