Those who are getting a little bit bored with the exterior appearance of their C-Class might want to give Mercedes-Benz a call and ask them about the new catalog of AMG accessories. The items are available for now only on the sedan, but will be offered for the more practical wagon before the end of this year. However, it’s important to mention the items can be ordered only on the AMG Line models or the hot C450 AMG Sport 4MATIC version.
The front fascia of Daimler’s executive compact sedan can be beautified with an AMG splitter while the side profile can receive new sill extensions to enable a sportier look. The list of goodies goes with an AMG tear-off edge and there’s also an AMG rear apron trim that comes with a diffuser-like finish. You will notice the AMG Sport strip and the rear flics which are also available for the specified C-Class models.
These subtle yet effective styling tweaks are finished in high-gloss black and have been made by using thermoforming technology. According to Mercedes-Benz, installing the items is a quick and easy process as it takes just one and a half hour to mount the front splitter, side sills, rear flics and the rear apron trim.
These AMG accessories will be showcased on the Mercedes-Benz C-Class at the Frankfurt Motor Show in German between September 15 and 27. The company is also setting up a touchscreen monitor to allow visitors to virtually check out these new bits and pieces in an interactive manner.
Interestingly, the German marque says a new array of AMG accessories will be launched sometime in 2016 for other body styles which means the unreleased C-Class Coupe and C-Class Convertible will also receive a similar treatment shortly after their market launch. The coupe will be the first to come out before the end of the year and will likely be followed shortly by its open-top sibling.
