Mercedes Benz inaugurates its Mangalore workshop with promises of providing the best for their customers

German luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz inaugurated its 6th workshop in Mangalore. The workshop has been named as Sundaram Motors Mangalore and is located in Bangalore Highway, BC Road. The luxury car workshop was inaugurated by Santosh Iyer who is the Vice President of After Sales and Retail Training, Mercedes-Benz India and Sharath Vijayaraghavan, Executive Director, Sundaram Motors.

The workshop is quite big with 27,237 sq. ft of space, which will ensure a luxurious experience for the discerning customers who will take their cars to the workshop. With a strong team of 15 professionally trained staff and an overall investment of as much as Rs 5.50 crore, the workshop will provide periodic maintenance, general repairs, value added services and diagnosis for the Mercedes cars.

Mr. Sharath Vijayaraghavan, Executive Director, Sundaram Motors commented that they take immense pride in being associated with the iconic Three pointed Star for over 15 years in India. And with the inauguration of the splendid workshop they have strengthened their presence in the incessantly burgeoning Mangalore market, where they have been witnessing a surge in demand for Mercedes-Benz cars. Based on the brand’s ‘Winning’ philosophy, they want to win the hearts and minds of customers by providing the best of what can be offered. This world-class workshop is dedicated to enhance the superlative ownership experience that comes with owning a Mercedes-Benz. He further said that they will continue their efforts in bringing in service excellence and strengthening their footprint further in this market.

The workshop can service 150 cars in a month. It is also equipped with the innovative new ‘Digital Service Drive’, which aims to make the servicing process of the cars hassle free.

As a part of network expansion, Mangalore workshop is the 6th workshop that has been inaugurated this year. The company already has 86 outlets across 40 Indian cities.
