Martin Schwenk, MD, and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India is proud of the fact that the luxury car brand has performed well despite the unfavorable conditions in the automobile market.
With a sales figure of more than 10,000 this year, Martin looks forward to robust growth in the last quarter of 2019, as well as the coming New Year.
Mr. Schwenk adds that the Dream Cars segment has performed exceedingly well with a growth of 160%. Some of the reasons for the success are the introduction of customer-centric and innovative mobility solutions like Wishbox.
The company provides the highest degree of support to its dealers, as well. Though the overall sales figure for the year could fall in comparison to the previous year, Schwenk is optimistic of maintaining the lead over other luxury car makers in India.
The most significant contribution towards Mercedes-Benz's performance has come from its Long Wheelbase E-Class model. The GLC SUV and the C-Class Sedan have also contributed their mite towards the positive growth in the sales figures. However, the Dream Cars segment has outperformed the others by 160% in the nine months in 2019.
