Mercedes Benz India has introduced a unique eco-friendly ‘Waterless Car Washing’ initiative in the country. With the introduction of ‘Quick and Clean’, the company is now offering waterless and ecofriendly solution for car maintenance for “Home use”. Dry wash or waterless wash is a novel concept which gives a better finish than water wash, by cleaning the vehicle with environmental friendly product without affecting the environment and preserving the most valuable natural resource- water. In addition, the German luxury automaker has also introduced a new range of specialized Chemical Products for the best maintenance of Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
Speaking on the introduction of the new products, Roland Folger, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said, “At Mercedes-Benz we value preserving the environment, and our concerted efforts are towards attaining environmental objectives. On world water day, with an intention to stop the wastage of potable water for car washing at home, we have introduced Waterless Dry Wash for domestic use. This initiative will not only save millions of litres of potable water, but will also provide a superlative ownership experience by presenting innovative products and services to our discerning consumers. Following the introduction of the country’s first state-of-art BSVI diesel engine in the new S-Class, we are now glad to launch yet another unique and environment friendly product range.”
This initiative from Mercedes-Benz can result in saving upto 10,000 liters of water per car annually. Other product line-up includes car care and cleaning solutions, body repair products, liquids and fluids, grease and lubricants and also Adblue for BS VI vehicles. It has also introduced Mercedes-Benz Genuine Oil, which offers more performance, more efficiency and less wear. It allows perfect lubricating properties from minus 30 to plus 260 degree Celsius, ensuring that the car operates reliably in any season and in all weather conditions. All the products are clinically tested and specially developed for use on Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. The products will be displayed at interactive bays in the workshops while demonstrations on the product USPs will be conducted as well.
