Mercedes Benz India had earlier, in January, announced that it will be launching 12 new car models in India. The target has been achieved by the Mercedes Benz India recently with the launch of the facelift version of the Mercedes Benz CLA. Now, considering that there is still time before the year ends, the German premium automobile maker wants to end the year on a higher note by launching the Mercedes Benz AMG C43 as a special Christmas gift.

Though there are no official confirmation about the new vehicle by the brand, there are good reasons to believe that it will be the the 2017 AMG C43. Roland Folger, told a popular automobile portal that the upcoming car will be a sportier version of a popular sedan. Now looking at the present gallery of cars, the brand already sells the Mercedes AMG S 63, C 63 S and the CLA 45 in the Indian subcontinent. This lint of cars indicates at the AMG C43 to be the only thinkable option. To go into the further details, Mercedes also offers the 184bhp power petrol of the C200 and the diesel engine of the C250, but they are not great performance car intrinsically. And as far as the Mercedes AMG  C 63 S is concerned, it is a premium luxury car at a huge price tag. Hence, the AMG C43 seems to be the best option as they come at a slightly lower price range and are well placed over the C200 in the performance section.

The Mercedes Benz C43 engine is designed by AMG with the philosophy of - one man one engine - like most other AMG cars. At the heart, the car holds a 3.0-litre V6, bi-turbo petrol engine which delivers a whopping power of 357bhp and a massive peak torque of 520Nm. This power will be transmitted to all the four wheels through a seven speed automatic transmission.
