In line with Mercedes Benz’s theme of ‘Year of Excellence’, the German automaker have opened a brand a new showroom in the city of Mohali, which has now become the largest luxury showroom in the state of Punjab. The new facility was inaugurated by Mr Eberhard Kern, managing director & CEO of Mercedes Benz India and Mr Raj Naresh Singh, managing director of Punjab Motors. The new facility in Mohali is the fourth new showroom that has been opened by the German auto giant in 2014 after Bhubaneshwar, Raipur and Bhopal and will spawn seven more showrooms in the coming months.
The new facility called 3S was built over a period of seven months and covers a massive area of 55,000 square feet including, the showcase area and a well equipped workshop. Located in Mohali’s key industrial area, the 3S facility has been established with an investment of Rs 16 crores.
The facility extends several services to its customers such as a drive-in valet service, a luxurious customer lounge, plush Cafe Mercedes along with 11 cars on display. Other highlights of the new showroom includes, accessories and wheel configurator, engaging audio-visual presentation, boutique collection, finance and insurance solutions and special play area for children.
Furthermore, Mercedes Benz India also commenced its Grand Tour of the award winning vehicles comprising the A-Class, the E-Class, the B-Class and the GL-Class. The convoy of gold foiled car will be cursing through 23 cities across the country in the next 45 days as part of Mercedes Benz India’s ‘Celebrate Excellence’ campaign. This campaign celebrated the automaker’s achievement of being ‘India’s Most Awarded Luxury Car Brand.’
