Mercedes-Benz, today launched its new 'My Mercedes, My Service' after-sales initiative that comprises of three key services Digital Service Drive, Premier Express and Star Ease. After the launch of this initiative in the country, India is the 2nd market after the U.S to receive the Digital Service Drive through the Service application. Using the service, customers can for the first time in India book a servicing schedule for their vehicles in real-time.
With the Digital Service, Mercedes service centres send homeowners updates regarding the status of their car via SMS, emails and video calls. Another first in the market is an online calculator for maintenance costs, which helps choose the right service plan as per usage patterns. Customers can now also order for a quicker service through the Premier Express Service, which will ensure completion of service in just two hours.
The Start Ease Service package will be offered for 3 years or 30,000 kms, 3 years of 60,000 kms, 4 years or 40,000 kms, 4 years with 80,000 kms and also 5 years or 1,00,000 kms. Mercedes will also 2/3/4/5 tears with unlimited mileage and 10 years or 2,00,000 kms for new customers only. In every 54 seconds 1 Mercedes cars is serviced across the country and this year more than 1,60,000 cars is expected to be serviced.
These new packages are transferable to new owners in the event of the car being sold, resulting in better peace of mind for the new owner.
