Mercedes "Concept EQ" was first showcased at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. Now it has made it's way to India Auto Expo 2018. This concept vehicle, with looks more like a sporty SUV coupé, gives a preview of a new generation of battery-electric driven cars. The exterior design with its new electro-look emphasizes on the powerful electric drive system. There are two electric motors, which have a system output, increasable to up to 300 kW and permanent all-wheel drive delivers high-level performance.

Concept EQ stands up to its promise of contemporary, sustainable mobility and has a range of over 500 km. The name EQ stands for "Electric Intelligence by Mercedes-Benz." The first series-produced EQ model in the SUV segment will run into production in the coming years.

It will be followed by a model initiative, with electric cars successively extending the Mercedes-Benz Cars portfolio.
