Just one more day and India will have Mercedes-Benz Celebration Edition, which the German luxury carmaker is launching to celebrate the milestone of selling 10 million C-Class units worldwide. As the name suggests, it's just a Celebration Edition of the car, so there will be no mechanical changes, but some cosmetic changes and additional equipments.
To be made available only on the C 220 CDI model, the Celebration Edition will have an AMG kit with front bumper spoiler, larger AMG wheels and side skirts. The Celebration Edition could also get bespoke upholstery and celebration edition badges inside the cabin.
In terms of equipment level, an improved audio system and a push start-stop button might also be seen in the Celebration Edition. As mentioned above, there will be no changes in technicalities of the car, so it will continue to derive its power from the existing 2.2-litre diesel mill, which belts out a maximum power output of 170bhp and 400Nm of peak torque.
The pricing and other details on the Celebration Edition will only be announced tomorrow at the launch event, so stay tuned to Autoportal for a detailed story on the same. Cheers!
