Mercedes is again up for its new designed sedan, reportedly an official reveals that the all-new E-Class (Codename - W213) can’t come soon enough, but at least in the meantime we get the opportunity to check out yet another batch of spy images. Looking at these latest spyshot we can observe that the brand has worked quite well by mashing up the C-Class and S-Class features into the Mercedes E-Class 2016.
In these images the exterior can be defined as a stretched C-Class, the interior includes the dual dual digital screens from the S-Class and the chances are that these dual digital screens are the same 12.3-inch diagonal. The four central air vents are also sourced from its bigger sibling, while the other components are taken from the C-Class. As per the expectation, many were hoping the model to be in a bit different design, overall the new Mercedes E-Class will shape up to be another best choice in the mid-size premium segment.
The new E-Class is going to be based on the C-Class as it will share its MRA platform, but will be a bit stretched to match the footprints of its predecessor. Talking about stretch, a more upgraded E-class with longer wheel base is in for work and the Mercedes-Maybach division could take it as a member. If this is true, then the longer E-Class could offer individual rear seats and a more luxurious cabin same as in the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.
The production face of the standard sedan is expected to start in Detroit from next month, but we’re hoping it to see online in the coming weeks. And we are waiting to watch this Stretched E-Class to touch the street of India, where the country has always been a promising market for the brand.
