It was a little over a month ago when Mercedes-Benz India officially launched the S63 AMG Sedan in our country and now the German tuners at G-POWER have prepared an upgrade package for the high-performance sedan from Daimler. Most of the work has gone underneath the hood where the twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 engine has been massaged to deliver an additional 120 bhp and 100 Nm, so now it churns no less than 705 bhp and a fantastic 1,000 Nm of torque.
Those who have the 4MATIC all-wheel drive model and apply G-POWER’s kit will be able to enjoy a 0-100 kmph sprint in as little as 3.8 seconds, so it is 0.2 seconds faster than the standard car. In addition, the tuner is also willing to remove the 250 kmph top speed limiter that comes with the stock S63 AMG and doing so will enable the vehicle to top out at a rather impressive 330 kmph.
Aside from gaining a healthy output boost, the Mercedes S63 AMG Sedan by G-POWER can also be further customized with a 21-inch alloy wheel set from the HURRICANE RR catalog and with a Jet Black finish, a diamond cut look and compatible tires. These wheels have been machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, so needless to say the weight has gone down considerably compared to the standard alloys.
It will be interesting to see how many people that have the S63 AMG or plan on getting it will not be satisfied with the engine’s regular output and will use the services of tuners like G-POWER to boost the motor even further as a way to improve performances and obviously also for bragging rights. Let’s not forget the coupe version was recently tweaked by Mansory and they managed to take the same engine to no less than 900 bhp.
