Mercedes will be launching the GLC 43 in India on the 21st of July, 2017. The new GLC 43 is placed between the powerful GLC 63 AMG and the standard Mercedes GLC and is mid level performance variant of the standard SUV.
On the outside, the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 has larger air intakes on the front bumper, while the front lip spoiler is dipped in silver. There are 19-inch alloy wheels, which completes the sporty AMG looks. All of these make the new GLC 43 look more aggressive than the standard version.
The interior gets a sporty appeal with an all black colour theme with red stitching and seat belts. The flat bottom steering wheel entices the inner feel further. The dashboard portrays an attractive design with several carbon fibre bits.
Living true to its name and the origin, the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 has a beastly engine under the hood. There is a 3-litre V6 engine doing the duties behind making a maximum power of 362 bhp. The power is transmitted to all the four wheels via a 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic transmission gearbox. The car has an electronically controlled top speed of 250 kms per hour and records an acceleration of 0-100 kms per hour in just 4.9 seconds.
The car will be getting four drive modes and a customisable mode as well. The drive modes include Eco, Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus. The customisable mode will allow the drivers to tailor the features according to their choice.
The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 is expected to be priced at around the Rs. 80 lakhs to Rs. 90 lakhs mark.
