As for the MG eZS specifications, the EV gets an electric motor with 150 PS along with 350 Nm torque.  It enables the SUV to sprint from 0 to 50 km/h within 3.1 seconds. A 44.5 kWh battery is used in the electric SUV which promises a claimed (NEDC) electric range of 335 km. The EV can be charged either through an AC charger or a fast charger that can charge up to 80% of battery in just 30 minutes.

In India, the MG eZS will be launched as a completely built unit (CBU). The new import norms allow automakers to introduce 2,500 CBU/CKD imports regardless of their FOB value, saving the tedious process of homologating in India. This would allow a smooth entry for the eZS EV in the country. The company may also look into locally assembling the EV from imported CKD kits if demand rises. Touted to a CBU, the MG eZS price in India is estimated to fall in the range of Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom). The car giant is currently gearing up for the launch of MG Hector which will be introduced in five-seat version initially, albeit a seven-seat variant will be rolled out early next year before BS VI emissions come into force.
