The former of MotoCzysz and a virtuoso motorcycle designer, Michael Czysz, lost his battle against a rare form of cancer as per international reports. Czysz was 52 and was fighting against the disease from last 4 years. In his pursuit of love for motorcycles he invested all his savings from his Architropolis high-end home design firm to establish his own motorcycle making firm which later shaped into MotoCzysz.
From the MotoGP intended C1 to revolutionary electric-E1pc, Czysz was a sheer genius when it came rebellious motorcycle designs. The C1, a petrol powered superbike deliberated for MotoGP carried a longitudinal four-cylinder engine and atypical design on the front suspensions, which was later subjected to a documentary Birth of a Racer. It was C1 which was taken as a base for the E1pc which was victorious four consecutive times at the TT Zero championship between 2010 and 2013. Charge, a documentary was filmed on the herculean E1pc which was the first electric bike ever to have crossed 100mph average lap on the Isle of Man TT course.
The biking faternity is at a great loss, our deepest condolences goes out to the family and friends of Michael Czysz - team Bikeportal.
