Few days back we reported about Michael Schumacher, a German World Racing Champion, who had injured his head during a fall while skiing and had hit his head against a rock. Since then, he has been in coma and the doctors have been trying their best for his recovery.
The 45-year old German Formula One driver, was taken to Centre Hospitalier Universitaire in Grenoble (CHUG, translated Grenoble University Hospital Centre) immediately. The doctors at the hospital said that they have started the procedures to wake him up from the medically induced coma, which was used to reduce swelling after his unfortunate fall. Michael has responded positively, but the procedure would take months if successful.
“I am stressing again any statement regarding Michael’s health not coming from the doctors treating him, or from his management, must be considered as speculation. I repeat, we will not comment on any speculation," said his manager, Sabine Kehm.
Michael Schumacher has undergone two brain surgeries recently to remove blood clots. Meanwhile, Schumacher’s wife, Corinna Schumacher, has asked the hospital staff and fans for privacy as the driver recovers at the CHU hospital in Grenoble, where he was rushed to after his accident.
Schumacher's team manager said in a statement to the media that they want to make sure that they release the most authentic information to his fans and the world media about his condition and recovery.
Schumi has been missing from the Formula One racing scene for quite a bit after the accident and we at Autoportal India, would like to wish him for a speedy recovery and we hope he gets back into action soon.
