Michelin launched a new digital tool to help journalists, bloggers and auto enthusiasts keep up to date with the latest news from the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The digital tool - Michelin Media Live, is an innovative digital media hub which will provide real-time information from one of the largest news-making events in the automotive industry.
Starting with press day (Jan. 13-14), Michelin Media Live will post high-resolution photographs, 360-degree auto videos (b-roll format), real-time interviews and news from the show. More than 50 vehicles and concept cars are expected to be introduced where Michelin Media Live will maintain a running list of all vehicle during the show.
“The social media sphere is constantly evolving, so it is essential that we provide innovative ways to engage with the brand,” said Edna Johnson, vice president communication and brands, Michelin North America. “With this tool, we are able to stretch beyond traditional social media capabilities and offer a comprehensive, minute-by-minute look at one of the most celebrated automotive events in the world.”
Journalists can freely download picture, videos and information for their editorial coverage of the show. Michelin Media Live employs YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to publish up-to-the-moment news and information.
