By introducing the new Countryman Special Edition in the United Kingdom, MINI has amazingly stretched the definition of special. The new Countryman edition will be offered in Absolute Black Metallic paint and has exclusive Space Grey Metallic paint on the roof and mirror caps. This compact crossover also features xenon headlights and 18-inch 5-Star Double Spoke alloy wheels with a black finish.
As we always say the interesting part is under the hood, The Countryman Special Edition will be offered in two engine variants including a 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine that will produce 190 bhp and 240 Nm of torque as well as a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that cranks out 143 bhp and 305 Nm of torque. The engine can be mated to either a six-speed manual or an optional six-speed automatic transmission and regardless to the selection of gearbox all Countryman Special Editions will come standard with an all-wheel drive system.
Talking about the interiors, the new Countryman Special Edition packs leather upholstery in Gravity-Carbon Black and Piano Black surfaces. It is also equipped with heated front seats, an automatic climate control system, and a multi-function steering wheel. Loaded with other goodies, it also has MINI Connected infotainment system with voice control, Bluetooth connectivity, and GPS navigation.
Production of this new edition will be limited to 250 units and the company is currently accepting orders.
