MINI is allegedly planning, some performance upgrades in Clubman JCW by pushing the power to 300 bhp. Knowing of its versions, an all4 and ‘regular’ JCW Clubman are already on the streets, making its mark, but it seems that the brand is planning to come upwards with even an hotter variant featuring an 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine. This super-hot hatch would take on Ford Focus RS, Honda Civic Type-R and the likes.

According to our friends in AutoExpress, the BMW 330i which delivers 249 bhp will be in use, as the British company will re-tune it to produce 300 bhp for this hot hatch JCW model. This super-hot variant of the JCW model will be offered with an all four wheel drive system. This hot MINI is expected to come with both manual and automatic gearbox.

Talking about the visual perception, the Clubman JCW will be offering sporty trims and wide suited wheel arches, air curtained body, a unique designed alloy wheels, while the hood scoop and the LED daytime running lights will be taken from the Cooper S model. As of now, the launch date has not been revealed, but this hot hatch is at least a couple of years away.
