Mitsubishi has silently launched the Pajero Sport 'Select Plus' at a sticker price of Rs. 28.60 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the country. We bring you the live pictures of the new variant of the SUV from the company's Vivek Autolinks dealership from Ghaziabad. The new variant comes with cosmetic updates over the standard variant, while getting a plethora of new features. Though, mechanically it retains the same diesel powertrain with identical power and torque figures. It can be availed with both manual and automatic transmissions.
Dimensionally, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 'Select Plus' measures 4695 mm in length, 1815 mm in width and 1840 mm in height, while having a wheelbase of 2800 mm. The SUV has a ground clearance of 215mm. It would be available in four dual-tone paint schemes: Red/Black, Yellow/Black, White/Black and Silver/Black. Speaking of the exterior features, it would boast of HID projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, black front bumper guard, black radiator grille, black 17-inch, 12-spoke alloy wheels, black wheel arches, black roof rails, black roof, chrome ORVMs with electrical adjustment and electrical retract, chrome door handles and chrome license plate garnish.
Inside the cabin, the Pajero Sport 'Select Plus' gets “Mitsubishi Motors” illuminated scuff plates, cruise control and DVD player behind front headrests, sporty beige leather seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, multi-way power adjustable driver seat and 6-speaker infotainment system with navigation. Under the hood, the SUV packs a 2.5L 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine which develops maximum power of 175bhp at 4000rpm and peak torque of 350Nm between 1800-3500rpm. The engine is offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a INVECS-II 5-speed automatic transmission. The manual variant comes with a 4X4 drive system, while automatic variant is a rear-wheel-drive variant. The Pajero Sport 'Select Plus' would challenge the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Volkswagen Tiguan in the Indian market.
