Mitsubishi is ready to reveal the 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport on the coming 1st August 2015 in Bangkok. And a couple of weeks ahead the launch, the Japanese car manufacturer has launched the third teaser for the SUV. The teaser is not as revealing as the previous teaser and only shows the sketch of the headlight with headline - Designed For Perfection.
The all-new Pajero Sport will be launched the 2015 Bangkok International Grand Motor Sale. The new Pajero has been completely redesigned and the rugged looks have been changed to more rounded and chiseled looking SUV. The 2016 Pajero is based on the same ladder -frame chassis that underpins the Mitsubishi Triton.
Powering the Pajero Sport 2016 will be the Mitsubishi's new 2.4-litre MIVEC four-cylinder diesel engine. The engine is sourced from the Triton and produces 181 PS and 430 Nm of torque for the car. The engine is paired to a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic gearbox. Mitsubishi will offer the Super Select 4WD system with a differential lock and low-range gearbox for the 2016 Pajero Sport.
The new Pajero Sport is seen as a viable competitor to the upcoming 2016 Ford Everest/ Endeavour and the 2016 Toyota Fortuner. The India launch could happen anytime in 2016 and Mitsubishi could assemble the car at the Hindustan Motor's facility in Tiruvallur.
