It seems like our Formula 1 stars are fondly in love with McLaren Supercars and specially the limited number McLaren P1. A couple of weeks back we reported about a rare, striking blue colored McLaren P1 owned by Lewis Hamilton which was spotted in his hometown Monaco. And now another McLaren P1 clad in grey has been spotted in Monaco which belongs to Jenson Button.
But, unlike Lewis Hamilton, who doesn't drive for the McLaren F1 team anymore, Jenson Button is the current driver for team McLaren. The McLaren P1 is limited only to 375 units and 2 of these hybrid supercars are owned by F1 personalities. The Briton took the delivery of the supercar almost a month ago and its the first time his priced possession has been photographed.
The supercar was caught cladding a monochrome dark grey paint with visible carbon fiber aero parts, yellow brake calipers and matte grey alloys. If you remember, Hamilton's McLaren was painted in a striking blue shade. While both the F1 stars own the same McLaren P1, listing them in lucky few, both are sitting on a stark difference on the F1 track.
While Jenson Button hasn't scored a single point, Lewis Hamilton, racing for team Mercedes is leading the drivers' tally after four races in the 2015 season. You can also click here to check the McLaren P1 GTR!
