It is being Reported that Dani Pedrosa will return from his extended absence from the paddock and will indeed race at Lemans this weekend. Dani had undergone a surgery to cure a persistent arm pump problem. Pedrosa missed three rounds in total, skipping Austin and Argentina, then making a last-minute decision to withdraw from the Jerez round.
As we reported earlier, Dani Pedrosa has declared after the Round 1 of 2015 MotoGP at Qatar that he is suffering from severe arm pump issues and he will have to go through another surgery to make sure he returns back to his full strength for premier class racing. It was a shocking news as Dani has already gone through two operations for the same in previous years and it required a ground breaking operation to make sure Dani recovers from this issue.
Just before and during the Jerez race weekend it was expected that Dani might return to racing at Jerez only but Dani decided to give his arm more time to heal and come back to full strength unlike previous times when he had targeted to race back again as soon as possible.
Pedrosa has tested on a supermoto bike before the Jerez race after which he was concerned that his arms were not recovering as fast he and the rest of the paddock has hoped for. With two weeks since Jerez race, Pedrosa has had more rest and now believes his arms will be strong enough to withstand the stresses of racing a MotoGP bike.
With Pedrosa returning, it would mean that the Honda garage will again be at its best and thus it will bring end to an uncomfortable period for HRC. Honda bosses had faced a barrage of questioning over both Pedrosa’s extended absence and their decision to field Hiroshi Aoyama as Pedrosa’s replacement, despite an offer to ride from Casey Stoner.
Saying that Pedrosa return would also help Marquez in fighting back for more points from his main rival Valentino Rossi and as well as from the championship threats like Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Dovizioso.
