Mumbai becomes the fifth city in India to get an exclusive Indian Motorcycles Dealership

Indian Motorcycle started their business here in India in the early 2015 and since then the legendary American motorcycle maker has been doing good in the country. Recently Polaris India Pvt. Ltd. the owner of Indian Motorcycles, inaugurated their fifth showroom in Mumbai. The new dealership is located on Western Express Highway at Unit No. 4 & 5, Hubtown Viva.

Inaugurating the showroom- Mr. James P Williams, Polaris Industries Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer said “As stewards and caretakers of one of America’s most storied and legendary brand, we are proud to inaugurate our fifth dealership in India. Motorcycling fans from and around Mumbai can proudly join us in celebrating the spirit of the brand that represents the perfect balance of legendary heritage and brilliant state-of-the-art engineering and technology.”

Currently the American motorcycle brand is selling six motorcycles in the country including Indian Roadmaster, Indian Chief Classic, Indian Chief Vintage, Indian Chieftain, Indian Chief Dark Horse and Indian Scout and the Mumbai showroom will be dealing in all of the above motorcycles. The entire line-up starts from Indian scout which retails at INR 12 Lakhs and extends to the highest priced Indian Roadmaster which retails at INR 37 lakhs (both ex-showroom, Delhi).

This is the fifth dealership of Indian Motorcycles in India, the company has shared their plans to come up with around 12 dealership total by the end of 2016. Sharing their plans on the localization, Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director of Polaris India Pvt. Ltd., spoke that they are looking forward to follow the CKD route to bring down the prices, however this is a long term plan and will take atleast 3 to 4 years more to come into implementation.
