MV Agusta F3 800 RC limited edition launched for Rs 19.73 lakh

MV Agusta, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer has launched its F3 800 RC Limited Edition motorcycle in India. The company will be producing only 250 units of the limited edition motorcycle, of which only 9 will be up for sale in India, which makes it extremely rare and collectors item. The great news is, five of the nine units has already been sold in India.

All the AMG branded limited edition MV Agusta F3 800 RC has been autographed by the riders of MV Agusta's factory team in the Supersport World Championship who are, Jules Cluzel and Lorenzo Zanetti. The motorcycle also gets unique limited edition serial numbers.

This special edition motorcycle is a street bike version of Team Reparto Corse's F3 800, which are ridden by Supersport World Championship riders. The bike comes painted in dual tone finish with red and white decals, inspired from the MV Agusta’s racing bike’s design. All the special edition motorcycles proudly flaunts the AMG branding, which holds 25% stake in the Italian brand. The bike is powered by a brilliant 798cc, three-cylinder petrol motor that can churn out 148 bhp of maximum power at 13,000rpm and 88 Nm of peak torque at 10,600 rpm. The engine is further paired with a crisp 6-speed gearbox for brilliant performance. The motorcycle is capable to touch a true top speed of 269km/h.

The 800cc motorcycle is based on Trellis frame and a single sided swingarm. The suspension job is handled by upside down front forks with adjustable rebound-compression and preload, while the rear-end gets a mono suspension unit that offers rebound, compression damping and preload adjustment. Braking duties are handled by the 320mm disc brakes with a Brembo brake calipers in the front, while the rear gets a 220mm disc brake unit.
