MV Agusta Factory water logged by overflowing lake!

Snapshot: Torrential Rains have flooded the MV Agusta Factory!

There have been torrential rainfall around the Varese Factory of MV Agusta and reports are coming it saying that he factory has stopped its production till the water subsides around the lake Varese.
The MV Agusta factory sits on the edge of the lake, and the recent weather has brought the waterline to include the Italian company’s R&D, racing, and testing facilities.

Because of the flooding (nearly a meter higher than usual), production has been halted, and around all the 100 employees have been sent home. It’s not clear how long the flooding will continue in Varese, though the current weather, and future forecasts, are favourable to the water subsiding. Because of MV Agusta’s history of various business pursuits, including the production of seaplanes (now AgustaWestland), the MV Agusta factory sits very close to the water’s edge, and has few provisions to stop the rising water, and thus floods with some regularity.

It’s not clear at this time when MV Agusta will clear the flooding damage, and return to normal operations. It is also unclear what costs this will mean to MV Agusta, both in clean-up and motorcycle production/delivery.

MV Agusta, popularly tagging themselves, righteously as 'Motorcycle Art', manufacture iconic motorcycles like the MV Agusta F4RR, MV Agusta Brutale Series, Recently released Dragster RR. At EICMA 2014, Mercedes-AMG bought 25% stock of MV Agusta which will help the Italian company (San Marino, to be precise) in terms of much needed capital infuse and expansion network.
