MV Agusta launched the special edition of Brutale 800 RR called the 'Brutale 800 RR America' at Rs. 18.33 lakh (ex-showroom). The Italian motorcycle manufacturer has allocated 5 units of the limited edition motorcycle for India. The special edition Brutale 800 RR America is Rs. 26,000 cheaper than the standard Brutale 800 RR (Rs. 18.99 lakh) in India. However, in the USA, the price of special edition Brutale 800 RR America is higher than the standard motorcycle.
The Italian brand will be manufacturing only 200 units of the special edition Brutale 800 RR America out of which 5 units have made their way to the Indian market. The changes are only cosmetic for the special edition motorcycle which features the 'Red, White and Blue' colours of the American flag. Other changes are 'America Special Edition' decal with the production number of the motorcycle on the instrument cluster cover and a star-studded logo on the fuel tank.
The mechanicals remain the same as seen on the standard Brutale 800 RR. The propulsion duties are carried by a 798 cc, in-line three engine churning out 140 bhp at 12,300 rpm and 87 Nm of torque at 10,100 rpm. The engine rests in a steel tubular trellis frame and the bike comes equipped with USD front forks. The bike weighs at 175 Kg (Dry weight) with a top speed of 244 Kmph. The motorcycle gets an all-digital instrument cluster, ride-by-wire throttle control, electronic quick shift, 8-level traction control and hydraulic slipper clutch.

For those not in the know, MV Agusta has partnered with Motoroyale (Kinetic Group) to operate in India. The product portfolio of the Italian motorcycle manufacturer is growing quarter by quarter in the Indian market. MV Agusta recently launched their sport tourer called the Turismo Veloce in India and a number of other models are set to hit the Indian shores later this year.
