MV Agusta - the Italian motorcycle manufacturer has teased its upcoming Superveloce 800 on Instagram. The caption read - We Feed Your Desire. The MV Agusta Superveloce. Coming 2020. The Italian brand first showcased the Superveloce 800 at the EICMA 2018 as a concept model. The production-spec model of retro-styled sports bike will make its global debut in 2020.

The Italian brand has not dropped any official words on the engine specifications as of now but, it is expected that the Superveloce 800 will be powered by a three-cylinder, 798 CC mill. The same unit also powers the MV Agusta F3 800 and the motor on this bike is capable of making 148 bhp of peak power at 13,000 rpm and 88 NM of peak torque at 10,600 rpm. The F3 800 has a top speed of 240 kmph.
The concept Superveloce 800 showcased at the last year's EICMA used a carbon-fibre side body fairing, LED lighting, yellow-tinted headlight & windscreen, fully-digital instrument cluster, unique fuel cap strap, rear seat cowl, distinct alloy wheels and fighter plane inspired rear end. While all of the mentioned components are likely to make their way on the production-spec model, the yellow-tinted headlight & windscreen will be given a miss, keeping in mind the safety norms. Overall, the Superveloce has got the combination of retro charm with modern equipment.

This is going to be a limited edition motorcycle and MV Agusta might allocate a couple of units of the Superveloce 800 for the Indian market as well. For the update, MV Agusta's India operations are managed by Motoroyale - a subsidiary of Kinetic Group. The Italian brand is focusing on growing its product portfolio in the Indian market. MV Agusta recently launched the limited edition Brutale 800 RR America and it is also planning to launch its premium sports tourer - Turismo Velocein India.
