MV Agusta teases new motorcycle

Snapshot: Looking at the market trend, we can predict that a classic cafe bike might not be the worst idea for MV Agusta.

It looks like the Automobile manufacturers never get tired of devising new ideas to tease the fans and the media fraternity. In such a recent incident, MV Agusta has sent out an image to the press (yes, a single image), with nothing much mentioned, aside a quarter of the tire visible. Though the interesting thing is the name of the image they sent- worth_waiting.jpg, like we are some sort of mystery investigators!

The Italian premium motorcycle manufacturer didn't leave much of a scope to work on, but the photo does give us some clues like a wired rim, Pirelli Diablo Rosso tire and a single-sided swing-arm. For a motorcycling aficionado, it will be easy to create two possibilities, either a completely new cafe racer styled machine, or a more classic version of the company’s still to be launched, Turismo Veloce ADV.

Looking at the market trend, we can predict that, a classic cafe bike might not be the worst idea for MV Agusta. Many manufacturers are coming up with the cafe racer version of, either the existing models or a completely new model, be it the Ducati Sports Classic Scrambler or other of the likes with the overall café culture and modern classics. Whether or not such a machine will come or would it be late for the party, is a matter of debate.

With the Intermot show just around the corner, it would have been a possibility for the launch there, but we got to know that MV Agusta is not on the official list of the exhibitors. Although, the announcement can be made at Intermot about the Mercedes-AMG acquiring a minority share in the company. We would very much like to believe that MV Agusta will display the vehicle in at EICMA to be held in November, if not now.

Perhaps, this is what they meant by 'Worth waiting'.
