Amruta Khanvilkar & Himmanshoo Ashok Malhotra, the Grand-Finale winners of the popular dance reality show Nach Baliye season 7 which was aired on Star Plus, were presented the keys of the All-new Honda Jazz at a glittering ceremony at Solitaire Honda in Andheri. The handing over ceremony was attended by Ashish Kaul, Zonal Head West, Honda Cars India Ltd. and Mr Krishna Kachalia of Solitaire Honda. Just so you know, Honda Jazz started its second innings in India this year only, albeit with diesel variants too unlike its previous outing.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing , Honda Cars India Ltd. said, “We would like to congratulate the winners of Nach Baliye season 7 and thank Star Plus for associating with Honda Cars India. The show has been extremely popular among the younger audience who is also our primary target audience for the all new Jazz. The new generation Jazz is packed with futuristic and aspirational styling which resonates well with the viewers of the programme and hence it was great to be associated with one of India’s most popular dance reality show.” Honda Jazz is pitted against the likes of Hyundai Elite i20, Volkswagen Polo and the yet-to-be-launched Maruti Baleno.
Honda is all set to enter the compact SUV segment in the country as it plans to launch the new BR-V crossover here in early 2016. For those asking, Honda BR-V had its world premiere at the 2015 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) in August. It was learnt through relibale sources that Honda BR-V would enter production in January 2016, with an India launch planned in and around the second half of 2016. Honda BR-V would be challenging the likes of Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano and Maruti S-Cross, while being available in both petrol and diesel fuel trims with the company's tried and tested 1.5L i-VTEC and 1.5L i-DTEC engines at the helm, respectively.
