German luxury car manufacturer, Audi unveiled a long wheelbase version of the A4 sedan at the 2016 Beijing Auto Show. As we mentioned it is a LWB version that means it has been stretched to a length of 4.81 meters and a longer wheelbase of 2.91 meters more than the predecesser model. Inspite of being 40mm longer than the previous A4 L, the new model has shred some weight as low as 110kg.
The new A4 L features a flowing design with concise lines that emphasises the brand’s typical sporty elegance. While the front and rear ends are characterized by a consistently horizontal crease that emphasizes the car’s width. It will be offered with Xenon headlights as standard, while optionally you can get Audi's Matrix LED lights and dynamic turn signals. The most added features of the car is the rear of the compartment, which is spacious and adds more kneeroom. Inside, the A4 L is similar to the standard A4, while a variety of features in offers like Audi's Virtual Cockpit digital dashboard display and some of the latest safety technology like collision avoidance systems, Autonomous Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection, and Parking Assistance.
In china, the A4 L will be available in two petrol engine choices, both the engine will be a 2.0-litre TFSI engines that will pump out a power output of 187bhp and 248bhp. Both the units will be connected to a seven-speed S-tronic transmission as standard, while the Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system is optional on the A4 L.
