New BMW 3 Series GT to be Launch in India on 19th October

Snapshot: Except for some cosmetic changes the BMW 3 series GT remains unchanged, the car’s overall shape remains the same apart from the redesigned bumpers in its front and rear. The 3 Series GT in its latest avatar is also expected to get a 2.0-litre diesel engine, which can churn out peak power of 184bhp and a peak torque of 380Nm.

The German luxury car maker BMW is gearing up to launch its all new BMW 3 series Gran turismo in India during the month of October 19th, just after the launch of the facelifted BMW 3 series.

Except for some cosmetic changes the BMW 3 series GT remains unchanged, the car’s overall shape remains the same apart from the redesigned bumpers in its front and rear. The facelifted BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo also features adaptive LED headlights, LED front foglamps and newly designed outer air intakes. The tail lights also gets LED treatment with L-shape light graphics, newly designed rear apron and bigger exhaust tailpipes. Additionally it features automatic climate control, keyless start, six airbags, Bluetooth for making calls and listening to music from your phone and leather wrapped steering wheel.

The interiors have also been reworked with high-gloss black interiors complimented with chrome accents. The facelift also brings the latest version of the navigation system named Professional infotainment system to the car, which makes travelling much easier. You can also charge your smartphones by connecting to the car’s external aerial wireless via an inductive tray. Now the customers have some more choices in terms of colours and other aspects as new options have been introduced for the exterior colour, wheel design and interior trim and upholstery.

In terms of the engine, the 3 Series GT in its latest avatar is also expected to get a 2.0-litre diesel engine, which can churn out peak power of 184bhp and a peak torque of 380Nm.The transmission duty is taken care of by 8-speed Steptronic Automatic gearbox which sends the power to the wheels. The company could also launch a petrol variant of this luxury as the demand of petrol cars are increasing.
