BMW India has silently launched the new X5 xDrive30d M Sport at a sticker price of Rs. 75.90 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) in the country. The new BMW X5 xDrive30d M Sport is locally produced at the German luxury automaker's plant in Chennai in a diesel variant and is available at BMW dealerships across India. The M Sport package makes the X5 xDrive30d even more sportier and agile.
Talking about the exterior features of M Sport Package, it comes with the M Aerodynamic Package, a choice of three individual exterior colours (including exclusive Carbon Black metallic), M light alloy wheels, BMW Individual High-Gloss Shadow Line, M-specific vehicle key and Tailpipe cover with high gloss chrome covering. For those asking, the all-new BMW X5 xDrive30d M Sport will be available in Alpine White as non-metallic paintwork and in the following two metallic paintworks: Space Grey and Carbon Black. There are 'M' badges on front wings and M designation on the door sill strip. However, the new SUV retains the adaptive LED Headlights, the distinctive kidney grille in matt black and the athletic side contours, quite similar to the standard X5 xDrive30d.

This high-performance vehicle has been designed for maximum performance all along the line.” The adaptive M Suspension is also presented with the SUV under the M Sport package. It features Dynamic Damper Control and air suspension on the rear axle.
The cabin boasts of M leather steering wheel, Head- up Display, electrically adjustable front seats for driver and passenger in leather upholstery and BMW Individual roofliner anthracite. In addition, several high-end premium features like Panorama glass roof, next generation BMW iDrive (on-board Driver Information System) with touch controller, and BMW Navigation Professional (integrated Global Positioning System – GPS) are on offer as standard. There is also a 26 cm colour display with 3D maps, 16 speakers with 600 Watts high-end Surround Sound system from Harman Kardon, host of BMW Apps and Connectivity through Bluetooth / USB devices.
Under the hood, the new BMW X5 xDrive30d M Sport has a 3.0L, 6-cylinder TwinPower Turbo diesel engine. It delivers a maximum power of 258bhp and peak torque of 560Nm. It is linked to an 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission which transfers the power to all the four wheels via BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive system. The new SUV sprints from 0-100kmph in just 6.9 second while clocking a top speed of 230kmph. As for safety of the occupants, the new X5 xDrive30d M Sport gets six air bags, Anti-Lock braking system, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), and Hill Descent Control (HDC).
